Poem - Healer

A poem I wrote some time ago, which describes my feelings relating to my last post - Give It All To God.
 

Healer

You are the Healer

My Healer

If only I’d let You be.

Lord, I’m scared

Scared of who I am

Without this condition that I have lived with forever.

Lord, will I still be me?

Will I still be the child who cried out for You?

Abba, Father,

Help me

Give me the strength to do this

Reach out to me

And show me that You’re here

That You love me

Regardless of my ailments

Free my mind from its bondage

And stamp out the enemy

Loose me from his stranglehold

And help me to see that I am Yours

Regardless of any health issue

I am Yours

I am Your child

You love me and want me to feel

As beautiful as You see me

Help me, Father

Heal my mind so that You can heal my body

Help me to trust in You

I don’t want to be scared anymore

Help me;

Heal me
